Emma Hughes

Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer

Emma joined Edward Hughes in 2024 as part of our Wills and Probate team.

She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer in 2023. She is a fluent Welsh speaker, and is able to conduct matters in both Welsh and English, depending on a client's preference.

A Graduate of Bangor University, Emma moved to Cardiff in 2017 to pursue her career as a Lawyer. She worked as a Legal Administrator for a Personal Injury team for the first 18 months, before becoming a Paralegal within a Probate Department in 2018. As a Paralegal, she embarked on the CILEx route to become a Lawyer, and was promoted to an Associate Probate Case Manager in 2022. She moved back to North Wales, with her family, in 2024, now as a qualified Lawyer.

Emma has chosen to specialise in Wills and Probate matters; being able to assist on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Grants of Probate and Estates Administration, and is able to arrange appointments at either the Rhyl or Colwyn Bay offices.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and going on adventures around Wales.
