David Jones
David is the Senior Partner within the firm and has over 30 years of experience specialising in all aspects of Criminal Law. David is a fluent Welsh speaker and is able to conduct matters in both English or Welsh.
Since starting his career with Edward Hughes as a Trainee Solicitor, David has represented clients in the police station as an Accredited Representative and as a Duty Solicitor in both the police station and Magistrates Court.
David’s Criminal Law practice spans advising and defending clients in a wide range of alleged offences, from initial police station interview through to the Magistrates Court including:

David’s passion outside of work is golf, regularly playing in leagues and travelling locally and internationally. David is also a keen skier and a rugby enthusiast, being both a qualified Coach and Referee. David also enjoys long walks with his family and their family dog. David’s three children have all, at one time or another, worked with him at Edward Hughes.
